“With strong roots we grow and flourish together”
Welcome to Cavendish View School & Walton Nurture
Located in the heart of Merseyside, Walton Nurture provides specialist early years education for children aged 4–5 with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). From age 5 onwards, Cavendish View School offers primary education and continued support, ensuring a seamless transition as children progress in their learning journey. At both settings, we believe every child deserves the right to an education in a nurturing and secure environment. Our experienced teams are committed to meeting each child’s unique needs through tailored interventions, supporting growth, learning, and development every step of the way.
Tailoring Educational Programmes for EHCP Students: Enhancing Key Skills
All of our pupils have an EHCP in place that forms the basis of planning for their individual needs and educational programme. We focus on developing children’s literacy and numeracy skills and preparing them for life beyond school through delivering age-and-stage-appropriate PSHE and physical curriculum.

Therapies
We have created carefully designed environments that promote the best possible outcomes for each child. These safe, supportive spaces can be used to stimulate engagement or provide calm, depending on individual needs. They include:
Sensory Gym
This space is built into children’s daily timetables to help support regulation and wellbeing. It provides opportunities for proprioceptive and vestibular activities, enabling children to focus, maintain balance, and support their overall health.
Light Room
A sensory space equipped with a variety of resources, including a magic carpet and interactive lights, designed to support early communication development. The space also features cause-and-effect equipment that encourages learning, engagement, and the development of social communication skills.
Soft Play
An indoor play space designed for young children to explore, offering a soft, padded environment where they can develop body awareness, burn off energy, and enjoy a safe, fun setting to interact with others and build essential life skills.
We provide an excellent working environment, with full training and regular supervision to support your development.
