Student Voice

At Cavendish View School, we believe that every pupil has important ideas, thoughts and opinions.

Student Voice is about making sure that children have opportunities to share their views and help make our school the best it can be.

We listen to our pupils because your ideas help us learn, grow and improve together.

What Is Student Voice?

Student Voice gives pupils the chance to:

✅ Share their ideas

✅ Talk about what is working well

✅ Suggest new activities and improvements

✅ Help make decisions about school life

✅ Speak up about things that are important to them

Everyone has a voice, and everyone deserves to be heard.

Our Student Union

Our Student Union is a group of pupils who represent the voices of children across the school.

Student Union members work with staff and other pupils to:

⭐ Share ideas from their classes

⭐ Help improve the school environment

⭐ Support school projects and events

⭐ Encourage kindness, inclusion and respect

⭐ Help make positive changes for everyone

The Student Union meets regularly to discuss ideas and work together to make a difference.

How Can You Get Involved?

There are lots of ways to share your ideas:

💬 Talk to your class representative

💬 Share your thoughts with staff

💬 Take part in surveys and activities

💬 Join discussions in class

💬 Tell us what you think would make school even better

We Listen

At Cavendish View School, we believe that children should have a say in their school community.

When pupils share their ideas, we listen carefully and look for ways to make positive changes together.

Your voice is important. Your ideas matter. Together we can make our school an even better place to learn, grow and succeed.
